The Blue Project was formed in 2014 in Nueva Gerona - Isla de la Juventud (Cuba). The group is composed of local artists and an Italian who is also one of the founders of the project, who lives on the island in alternating periods. The Blue Project have played in several local events and record independently in their studio in Nueva Gerona, their "headquarters". Various artists are part of the project and they come and go by following their destinies that continue to meet and intertwine for the friendship and passion for the music they share. The main genre is Folk with influences Rock, Country, Bluegrass ... In 2018 the Blue Project publish their first EP of covers "Introducing the Blue ....", and in 2019 a full album containing 16 covers "More Tham Friends", availables in digital format on different platforms.
