This five-piece blues band, all members of which were born in Scotland, was formed in the early 80s by Tim Elliott (harmonica/vocals) and John Bruce (guitar). After numerous personnel changes during their formative and semi-professional years, by the middle of the decade they settled into a hard driving and highly regarded band. In the mid-80s, Blues ‘N’ Trouble toured as support band to some visitors from the USA, including Robert Cray, B.B. King, Charlie Musselwhite, Pinetop Perkins and Junior Wells. Blues ‘N’ Trouble continued to work a busy schedule during the next 20 years, appearing at numerous UK venues and also playing festivals around the world. At the start of the 00s, Elliott was leading Mike Park (guitar/vocals), Alan Scott (bass) and ‘Lucky’ Lox Lovell (drums).
