BLVMENKIND (German word for flowerchild) is a producer from Switzerland. Born in 1998 raised in Zurich, he came in touch with music early in his life. When he was seven his mother died, wich led him to making music to overcome the loss. He started to play Cello and a few years later in 2011 switched to music production when he found a demo software on the internet. Without any knowledge for music production, he found his roots in house music. Inspired by game changers like <a href="spotify:artist:6nxWCVXbOlEVRexSbLsTer" data-name="Flume">Flume</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:53wZLCnhshZKDRs3uopFBc" data-name="Jai Paul">Jai Paul</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:63MQldklfxkjYDoUE4Tppz" data-name="M83">M83</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0k17h0D3J5VfsdmQ1iZtE9" data-name="Pink Floyd">Pink Floyd</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2h93pZq0e7k5yf4dywlkpM" data-name="Frank Ocean">Frank Ocean</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5Q81rlcTFh3k6DQJXPdsot" data-name="Mura Masa">Mura Masa</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6DPYiyq5kWVQS4RGwxzPC7" data-name="Dr. Dre">Dr. Dre</a> and many more he later on opened up his production style to a variety of genres combining Electronica, Hip-Hop, Pop, Classical music and experimental sound design to create something unique. His first official single "Dream With You" featuring another Swiss talent Sam Darton appeared in 2017. It was an instant success as it gained over 10 million listeners on Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud.
Going silent for over three years, he returned with a visual teaser of upcoming music on his YouTube Channel. Later on March 27th 2020 he broke the silence with the release of "Wanna Go" together with Tom Wavy. Selected as artist to watch 2020 by the Swiss national radio SRF3 he announced his debut album is in its final stages of production.
