bm_128 is the solo project of Sebastian Herrmann who otherwise plays in postrock or ambient electronic bands (formerly mentizid and currently MØDI). His music covers slow instrumental ambient songs and rockier chiptune tracks with additional influences from postrock and techno.
Having started with a gameboy in 2008 he meanwhile switched to digital synthesizers as the main sound source and additionally records guitars, acoustic instruments and ambient samples. He self-released several albums and EPs on Bandcamp, SoundCloud and other platforms. All of his music is freely available.
