Formed in 2019, Boar Spear is a sonic force over two decades in the making. Founding members Owen and Joshua began writing music together after crossing paths on the dirt roads of North Florida in 2001. Their creative journey took them across the country, settling in Seattle in 2013 to pursue a new chapter in sound.
With the addition of bassist Bryan Dever in 2024, Boar Spear’s full vision came to life—melding raw energy with layered musicality.
Boar Spear delivers intense performances with brutally honest lyrics. Drawing inspiration from the emotionally charged music of the early 2000s and the storytelling traditions of generations past, they create something at once familiar and fiercely original.
