Bob Bleedy is a Prague-born and Berlin-based synth-pop artist. He co-founded ODDITY Records, an artist collective focused on exchanging contemporary talent between Berlin and Prague.
Starting out his career in his home country, the Czech Republic, Kriz was a member of the synth-pop duo JayRo , nominated for Czeching 2020 for Best New Artist in the Czech Republic. He produced (What Now) and mixed (Empty Phrases) for Anna Vaverková, winner of the Anděl awards, and mixed the Apex EP by the Czech-Turkisch indie pop artist Melis.
After relocating to Berlin, he released his debut solo album ‘Codependers’ in 2022, dubbed ‘Trauma Pop’ by Prague Radio 1.
Insane is the first single of the upcoming sophomore album ‘Emotion Management Club’.
Inspired by artists such as Jean Dawson, George Clanton or Young Fathers, Bleedy comes back with fresh sound enhanced by the mastering prowess of the Berlin-based engineer Enyang Urbiks (Arca, Rosalia).
The song is about opening oneself to vulnerability and the thrilling and terrifying prospect of new love. It comes through ODDITY Records on November 1st with a music video shot by Jan Valis and Tania Lvovská on the island of Rugen.
