Originally from the Crystal Lake, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago I think I have had unlikely path back to music. Growing up a ravenous music fan and a novice guitar guitar player at best, music was always something I loved. I always wanted to be a musician, a rock star really. The problem was deep down I never thought I was good enough and thought I really had nothing to offer. Seeing the talent , creativity and charisma of many of my friends, I let myself be discouraged. So I enjoyed my childhood and adolescence. I lived my life, went to college, had fun and became a man. Eventually music began to call back to me again. I had never stopped loving and enjoying music, but for some reason I now felt compelled to created again.
I think as you get older the things that really bring you joy in a pure way really become important as more superficial priorities fade.
So I began to write again, all the time. Doing everything I could to be a better guitar player, at soun writer and singer. I really embraced making music. Now here I am, writing music I enjoy writing, playing and seeing where life takes me.
See you there
