Bobbi Rockett is an up and coming artist from Boston, MA, who learned early on that no human can understand her quite like a pen and paper do. Facing complex emotions that at times left her weeping on the floor of a dark closet, far from a sense of purpose, Bobbi found her way out of the darkness by looking into herself, using words, colors, and movement to express the otherwise inexplicable experience of her inner world.
Currently self-designing her major, “Healing Through Art,” at Chapman University in Orange County, CA, Rockett is fusing Psychology and Philosophy with both Visual and Performing Arts to dive deep into the all encompassing healing that occurs within the creator and consumer of various forms of creative expression. Although she intends to continue pursuing a full time career in music and the arts outside of the academic realm, Bobbi is driven to connect the art to science-backed research, using her time in academia to prove the life-changing effects of engaging with the Creative Process.
More than anything, Bobbi is passionate about inspiring people to connect with themselves and each other to live a life fueled by Purpose and Love.
She hopes you will find pieces of yourself in her art, guiding you to realize the Truth that we are all interconnected; We Are One.
