Hailing from the west coast of Africa, Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Bobby Skyz discovered his passion for singing and writing music at the early age of 10, with influences in gospel, jazz, rnb, hip hop and Afro highlife music.
In quest of furthering his talent, he moved to the Philippines where he absorbed the Filipino culture. Being able to sing and write in Tagalog, Pidgin, Spanish and other major languages has made him a multi cultural force in the music scene. He gained major recognition in the entertainment industry after becoming eatbulaga’s “You’re My Foreignoy” grand champion in 2015, and landing major award nominations for wish1075’s best R&B artist and performance of the year, artist of the week on wave 89.1fm and a series of #1’s on radio countdowns.
From jamming in the streets of Aba, to school and church choirs, to big stages, Bobby Skyz or “The Soul Therapist” as many call him, has impacted several lives with his sound, and a rising global fanbase.
