Boey is a singer-songwriter from Ipoh, Malaysia.
He started making music when he was 13 and started transcribing and composing string orchestral tracks for his high school symphony orchestra, where he was the concertmaster for three years. He then moved on to writing pop/ adult contemporary songs after he became more comfortable with the sound of his own voice.
