Bohunk Deluxe takes its deep-rooted dance inspirations from 70's icons like Donna Summer (among others) and fuses them into an original, club-worthy mix of eclectic influences, austere sounds and groove-heavy rhythms.
Cleveland, Ohio native, Greg Korzen (guitar, synth, producer, engineer) has roots going back to the 80's L.A. punk scene, playing guitar with a few of the original members of Christian Death, the architects & originators of the "Goth" genre. He first created Electronic Music at his home studio in Hollywood in the 80's while playing in bands and jamming with some the major musicians in L.A. at the time like, Flea and Slash.
In 2018, Greg met Wendy Steiger, a producer, arranger and, the key ingredient who inspired him to take all his knowledge for recording and love for dance music and merge it with the beautifully raw, and gritty photography from their travels together. Her unique heart and feel for music and dance was the muse that sparked a major artistic collaboration.
Wendy started in music as a DJ, at college radio station WALF, 89.7 FM, in Alfred, New York, later studying dance in New York City with the renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. In 2020 Greg & Wendy started producing music together and in addition to the 8 singles here, they are currently working on new songs for future release.
