Boi Wonder

Boi Wonder produces electronic pop songs for the moody and the tenderhearted. These tracks combine UK Garage beats and piercing 808’s with floaty ad libs, hasty gated synths and anxious steel drums. At first you might be fooled, expecting happy and hopeful tunes, yet ultimately feelings of discomfort and delusion prevail. It’s melancholy at its most elegant: post-love songs, to dance, unwind and cry to. Fans of James Blake, Burial or The Weeknd will likely hear echoes of their favorite tracks.

“Behave” is likely the first debut album to be produced at a Unesco world heritage site: all music is written and recorded in Boi Wonder’s private recording studio, at a majestic former religious site in the small city of Sint-Truiden.

Previous singles ‘Living Room’, ’Whispers’, ‘I like you’ and ‘Encores’ have hit the playlists of the major radio stations in Belgium: Radio 1, Bruzz and Studio Brussel. All of these releases were covered by leading national music magazines, like Fuzz Mag, Luminous Dash, Damusic and ‘Dansende beren’.

The most recent single ‘Encores’ featured in several popular Spotify playlists, like the curated Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds: poptronix. This track has also been remixed by Pelican Fly buddies Inodi, Mister Tweeks, Richelle and Mamboussa, and by producer GANZ.
