Bombyx Mori was formed by <a href="spotify:artist:3Mb4Pu6WUaf8PeNoFlKoqE" data-name="Leo Fontecilla">Leo Fontecilla</a>, Ciriaco Pescador and Fitzroya in 1999, after completing their studies in composition and musical arrangements in Santiago, Chile. It was originally conceived as an open space to make songs and later evolved into a folk-rock band, including other music college classmates and close friends. Their first album was made mainly in the city of Valparaíso and recorded in the Musicamara studio, with the support of the University of Valparaíso and the regional government of the same region. Bombyx Mori made two more albums in 2006 and 2008, which will soon be available on digital platforms.
