Deemed one of Austin's "Best Punk Rock Bands", BÖNDBREAKR has played their unique blend of grimy nightmare music during SXSW 2022 and 2023, and have opened for heavy-hitting acts such as H.R. (Bad Brains), MDC, Fea, Cinnamon Babe, Pleasure Venom, Fuck Money, Pussy Gillette, Restraining Order, Gumm, Naked Aggression, Gregg Turner (ex-Angry Samoans), Drakulas, and Pinata Protest.

They also collaborated with bassist, banjo player, and songwriter JD Pinkus on a cover of Melvins’ “Bride of Crankenstein”.

In July 2023, BÖNDBREAKR took their unique brand of crossover protest punk/metal and electric live performance out west to promote their EP titled ‘EXILE’, which was released on Friday, August 25, 2023, on Grimace Records. The ‘Waking Nightmare Tour’ covered 15 cities with 15 performances in Roswell, NM; Yuma, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO and many others.

The band is based in Austin, TX and embarking on an East Coast tour (May 5-May 26) with ska-core punks Hans Gruber and the Die Hards. Both bands will provide genre-defying tunes at Ska Punk International Fest 2024.

BÖNDBREAKR will also play Piss Prom II at Mohawk - Main Stage with Los Angeles rabble rousers Cancer Christ and Austin locals Throat Piss and Molly Ringworm on May 31, 2024.
