Bongani Thomo, better known as Bongeezy, is the self-proclaimed inventor of “Boujee Rap.” Born and raised in Jabulani, Soweto, he is an electrifying hip-hop artist. His debut release, Bright Colours EP, came out in 2014.
Bongeezy has collaborated with Th&o, a versatile South African artist and producer known for blending soulful melodies with modern production. He has also worked with Yanga Chief, a South African hip-hop artist celebrated for his vibrant, culturally rooted style.
He has shared the stage with some of South Africa’s most legendary hip-hop acts, including P.R.O., Infa (Skwatta Kamp), and Bozza (Skwatta Kamp).
