Bonish is a multifaceted artist who acquires the form of a DJ, producer and remixer. He is part of projects such as Bajofondo Remixed and Campo. Campo received two Grammy® nominations. His music stands as a bridge between electronics and organic sounds, building a space where the dance is stripped of the elements of time and place, and rhythm takes control. With synthesizers and an original set of percussion instruments, his music evokes a tribal past and an electronic future. His most recent solo work is titled Nueve, where he uses sound collage and pastiche, takes techno, acid house and downtempo, and mixes them with rhythms like samba, candombe and milonga.
