Oslo's Bonk were founded by Andreas Grotterud (guitar/vocals) and Leif Koren (guitar/vocals) in 2001. With a quirky sense of humor, killer guitar licks, and a greasy rock sound, Bonk issued their debut, Western Soul, in 2004. Gisle Amundsen (drums) and Bård Høvik (bass) joined the duo two years later, adding to Bonk's energetic garage rock style.
