Producer and Italian artist active since 1997, he has created over 150 songs and collaborated with many internationally renowned artists. Throughout his career, he has worked with both major and independent labels.
His professional journey began in 1997 as a songwriter for Nika Records in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where he produced several Italian-language cover songs and remixes for Plavi Orkestar, a famous band in the Balkan region. Around the same time, he also began producing dance tracks released exclusively through ZYX Music (Germany).
He later spent two years collaborating with BlissCo in Turin, the label known for launching Eiffel 65. During that period, he released three singles that gained moderate success.
In 2004, he met Ottomix, with whom he formed a long-standing friendship and artistic partnership. Together, they produced numerous tracks, including the international hit "El Bom Bom" by 8 Ball C, released by Universal Music France.
In 2005, he founded his own label, DP Factory Music Inc., which he continues to run today. Open to all forms of collaboration and a passionate traveler, he remains deeply engaged in music production, working closely with Edinet Music and various artists from across the musical spectrum.
For the past ten years, he has also collaborated with Italian DJ and producer Manuel Tricky on their joint project Wile.
Bonsugi is also the producer behind the lounge project Joe Jog, blending chillout, soul, and laid-back electronic atmospheres.
