Formed in 1998 Bootsie Merango's "CALI FUN REGGAE" music quickly became one of the Central California Coast's favorite bands. Playing sold out gigs at SLO Brew and Mothers Tavern in San Luis Obispo was the norm for 2 decade. Bootsie Merango had a successful East Coast tour in 2005 headlining the main stage at the East COast Surf Championships among many other other stops along the way.
