Born Animal is putting the rock back in indie-rock. Created by Ryan Stowe (vocals/guitar), and Stephen Luther (bass) in 2015, Evan Miranda (drums) and Sean Rossettie (guitar) joined the group the next year. The four hit their stride immediately, wowing audiences with electric live shows and songs that won’t get out of your head. Taking influence from every decade of music, Born Animal blends riff-based rock with powerhouse vocals and rebellious lyricism.

The next year of writing and rehearsing culminated in Celebration Revolution, self-released on Dec. 1st 2017. The EP was featured on Lightning 100, Pancakes & Whiskey, The Deli and charted at #140 on the NACC Charts. During that time, Born Animal also played Vanderbilt’s Rites of Spring 2018, four SXSW showcases, and was a finalist in Lightning 100’s Music City Mayhem. The band also had a lineup change, with Adam Uttz taking over on drums.

Born Animal has finished their third EP 'Even If It Breaks' for a spring 2019 release. The first single, also titled ‘Even If It Breaks’ is due out April 5th. With the help of producer Dean Alexander, the newest album sounds like the band is rocking right in front of you. It’s Born Animal’s strongest effort yet, and it’s got it all – anthems, guitar solos, screams, sing-alongs, and head bangers. The guitars are raw and gritty. The vocals are luscious. And the drums are just plain huge. If you can’t wait for spring 2019, catch the new material at any live Born Animal show.
