The band Born Idiot is back four years after their last album, Full Time Bored. With this ten-track record, the indie pop band sticks to its familiar themes, naming the new record Infinite Life Trauma, a casual ode to the end of the world with a touch of romanticism. Once again, Born Idiot strikes right at the heart with catchy choruses, kitschy synth riffs, and sharp guitars. This time, though, there’s less holding back, less humor—the band is here to settle the score. With a more rock-influenced sound on this album, the five musicians from Rennes take a new direction, embracing a bolder political stance, setting the stage for a farewell feast that hints at collective suicide.

Sur ce 10 pistes, le groupe d’Indie pop n’a pas changé de discours en nommant l’album « Infinite Life Trauma », ode à la fin du monde romancée avec désinvolture.
C’est encore avec des refrains tubesques, des riffs de synthés ringards et des guitares incisives que Born Idiot réussit à toucher en plein coeur. Moins de pincette, moins d’humour, le groupe veut en découdre.
Avec un son plus rock, les 5 rennais décident de prendre un virage portant une politique plus assumée en organisant un festin d’adieu au goût de suicide collectif.
