Botje is a Dutch-Italian artist who grew up in “De Baarsjes”, a neighborhood in Amsterdam-West. He started rapping at a young age with his friends after getting kicked out of school and leaving his passion football. After years of dropping freestyles and clips on YouTube, the rapper gained co-signs of the biggest artists in the Netherlands.

Botje released “Amsterdam Heeft ‘T Altijd” in 2023, a rap song mixed with folk which reached the “Viral 50” of The Netherlands. The song concluded verses of legends like Lange Frans, Sepa, Mick Harren and Salfa, produced by Rolito Myers. After releasing several songs on Spotify, in 2024 Botje was labeled “Next Up” by 101Barz.

Botje makes himself unique as he raps in both languages Dutch and Italian. After experimenting with new sounds such as reggaeton and club rap last year, the artist is ready to bring a different wave as likely to Italy as The Netherlands.
