Since first coming into the scene in late 2018, 14-year-old rapper Bouba Savage has quickly established himself as one of music’s most exciting new acts. The first song he ever recorded, “Ima Savage,” rapidly accumulated hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, putting the then-12-year-old on the radar of music fans and executives everywhere. Through consistent follow-up releases on his YouTube channel, Bouba gained support and co-signs from household names including Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamie Foxx, Pop Smoke, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Lil Tecca, and Playboi Carti, amongst countless others.
Born in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa in 2006, Bouba moved to the United States in 2016. He quickly adapted to the change in environment and decided he wanted to give rapping a try, inspired by New York artists like A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Sheck Wes.
“Wanna Hate” is Bouba’s first release with New York powerhouse Highbridge The Label. It also marks the first single from his debut project, “It’s Amazing,” which is slated for release later this year.
