Sunday Songs for the Everyday. LICC (London Institute of Contemporary Christianity) and Integrity
Music have come together to collaborate on a new project named ‘Boundless’ with the hope to offer the church more songs and hymns about everyday life. A study by esteemed worship leader and collaborator on the project ‘Graham Kendrick’ conducted a review of more than 800 contemporary worship songs and discovered that there were very few songs and hymns about everyday life, though about 95% of time most Christians aren’t engaged in church-based activities.
Artists, writers and theologians came together in unity to write songs for that purpose so that
people living out in their areas of influence can be reminded that God is in their everyday, not just
Sunday. Those involved include; Elle Limebear, Nathan Jess, Philippa Hanna, Noel Robinson, Lou
Fellingham, Steph Macleod, Joel Payne, Marc James, Jemimah Payne, Graham Kendrick, Laura
Farrar, Lucy Grimble and Andy Flanagan.
The project is inspired by Colossians 3:17 'Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in
the name of the Lord Jesus.'
