They probably crossed paths unaware at the same airports many times but they met online, sharing very different musical histories but the same musical passion. They later discovered they also share family histories dating back two generations. This is a partnership that was meant to happen.
Hearing their story of near-miss coincidences and eventual meeting, Bonnie Raitt said it gave her goosebumps, adding “this story has to be told”. Bowen Wells are that story.
From the moment of collaborating on a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Little Green”, they felt a musical connection as a duo which they couldn’t ignore and Bowen Wells were born.
Melody and harmony-driven, drawing upon elements of Americana and shot through with a pop- rock energy, Bowen Wells are rich in influences but with a fresh take on a duo partnership, fuelled by an exciting vocal dynamism and energy.
