Favour Aghayere as chosen preference by the government but is popularly known as Ocean is a talented Gen Z artist from benin city Edo state. That uses music as he’s boat to navigate in he’s “ocean” of creativity. It’s no coincidence that he’s love of emotrap which has a heavy influence in the present day music scene, and has helped push and pull the tides to he’s fondness of the likes of XXXtentaion and Juicewurld while also adopting musical similarities from he’s love of burna boy , the great Fela and Afrobeats in general. Bridging both worlds and living in his own definition of truth
Ocean grew up in a big family of 6 with 3 elder brothers, he’s environment was a socialized one. This made him interact with not just he’s peers in the same age gap but also made him confident to have regular dialogues with older people too
At an early age of 16, Ocean is interested in this matter, and is a firm believer of using he’s music to help people, to not just find their own truth and happiness but also give them and intrinsic allure that follows them everywhere they go.
