After 10 years in the making, I’m proud (and honestly a little nervous) to finally release “Children in War.”
This song is a deeply personal piece rooted in my own experiences as a UN peacekeeper during the Bosnian War in 1994–1995.
“Children in War” gives voice to the often-unheard stories of conflict — especially from the perspective of the innocent children caught in its chaos.
Raw, emotional, and grounded in real-life events, the track blends haunting melodies with honest storytelling to reflect on the lasting scars of war and the resilience of the human spirit. It’s not just a song — it’s a tribute, a reminder, and a call for empathy.
Releasing it now, in August, is intentional — to mark the legacy of those years and offer something meaningful in a time when the world still grapples with conflict.
Thanks to Lars and Jesper for making this posible.
