Braden Koksal, also known as Braden Alec Michael, is an award-winning media composer, music producer, and sound designer. He has scored feature films, short films, and various other visual media. Braden scored his first feature film, the award-winning horror For God's Sake Wake Her Up, alongside multi-award-winning composer Julien Verschooris. The film went on to receive placements at festivals such as Panic Fest 2025, Etreum Horror Fest 2025, Another Hole in the Head, and more. Braden also won Best Original Score in the Fiction category at the SOCAN Foundation – Emerging Screen Composers Awards 2025.
Braden also works in the trailer industry as a composer, producer, and sound designer. He debuted his first project, Lost Truths EP, in 2024 with the renowned music library Sencit Music. In 2025, he released two original albums with Sotie Music: Beneath the Surface and Specter.
Braden's goal as a composer is to create original music that immerses the audience in the story, enhancing its emotions and narrative. Driven by a passion for experimentation, Braden is inspired by breaking conventional rules through sound design using analog and modular synthesizers, live instrument recordings, and unconventional recording techniques.
