"70s Rock meets 90s Grunge" is how 3 piece Brighton band Brainface describe their music. Forming in late 2024, Ollie Thrower (vocals and guitar), Ben Goffin (bass) and Callum Garner (drums) came together as experienced musicians to form the band. They hope to offer a fresh take on the modern rock scene with meaningful lyrics, guitar swagger, funky bass, and thunderous drums. They take a DIY approach creating all the art, merch, and videos themselves with plans to make the project as much of a brand as it is a band.
2025 is proving to be a great year for Brainface, with multiple high energy shows (including Green Door Store and Prince Albert in Brighton) and their debut single 'Say Something' being featured on BBC Introducing. 'Say Something' is a perfect introduction into the bands sound, and each release will be its own entity with the intent to surprise their audience.
