Brandi Vezina is making waves with her bold storytelling and unapologetic grit. A proud Métis artist from Manitoba, Brandi’s music blends heartfelt narratives, modern country influences, and emotional depth.
Her Grit & Glamour EP is a powerful collection of songs rooted in identity, resilience, and rebellion. Brandi is taking the Grit & Glamour Tour across the Boreal forest and prairies, sharing stories that reflect the land and spirit of where she’s from.
At the heart of her upcoming Grit & Glamour EP is Paper Town, a song that speaks to the fragility of industry and community. Inspired by true events, Paper Town tells the story of a once-thriving mill town that lost its lifeblood when the industry collapsed. Co-written and performed with Winnipeg’s Scott Nolan.
2024 has been a milestone year for Brandi, with standout performances at BreakOut West and Country Music Week, as well as earning a spot in the Women in Music Canada Entrepreneur Accelerator. She was also honored as the 2024 recipient of the Vince Fontaine Legacy Award.
Her festival performances include Dauphin’s Countryfest, APTN Indigenous Day Live, Festival du Voyageur, and the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, and most recently, she’s been announced as a performer at the 2025 Burt Block Party, sharing the stage with Dean Brody, Owen Riesling, and Hailey Benedict on August 14 in Winnipeg.
