Swayy was born January 16th, 2000 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was raised in a small town just outside of Lake Worth, FL called Lantana. Swayy grew up with a deep musical background. Swayy began writing songs in the 3rd grade and would perform regularly for his school and local venues.
By the time he was 18 Swayy realized he had to move quicker with his ambitions with the addition of his child. Swayy's financial incapability to support a family motivated him to go back to what he knew as a child – which is his love for music. During his financial hardship, he decided to start writing music again. His younger brother who goes by LA Snipe also had a musical background and begin producing beats for Swayy. From their brief collaboration, they were able to create their first single “Just Jig”. Brandnew has since signed with the record label DPE.
