Contemporary gospel and Christian pop artist Brandon Camphor, a native of the Washington, D.C. area, debuted as a solo artist in 2006. That's the year he self-released To the One, a low-key five-track EP of modern R&B-oriented gospel. The following year, he formed Brandon Camphor & OneWay with fellow vocalists Fred Cleveland, Angela Jones, and Julia McMillan. The group developed a hybrid form of contemporary gospel, pop, and rock, and made their recorded debut two years later with Regeneration. Although the group didn't release their second album, Hope Is Alive, until 2015, they released a handful of singles during the gap and were active performers. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
