Brandon Michael Williams is a multi-instrumentalist who discovered an interest in writing music as a teenager in order to express emotions related to the tension of maintaining balance towards contradictory themes. Because of this, his music inevitably became the soundtrack of an adult life trying to find the balance between: trust and betrayal; sacred and secular; childishness and wisdom; hatred and peace; love and war; emptiness and meaning; hunger and relief; greed and poverty; sin and sanctity; truth and falsehood; love and lust; staying and leaving…staying and leaving…leaving and staying. The music, a pet project of processing those unresolved early emotions, created in its creator a willingness to learn how to live in (and sometimes enjoy) the questions. What eventually emerged for the artist and his music was a growing freedom to be able to find the space between the contradictions and, rather than the need to find an answer, learn how to simply sing along.
