Brandon has spent most of his life living in and around St.Louis, Missouri. He quickly fell in love with music at a young age, citing his mother as the main person that influenced his early musical taste. Early on he was exposed to artists that came way before his time. This list included but was not limited to; Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and more.
It wasn’t until Brandon was in the fourth grade that he truly fell in love with Hip Hop. He was at the store with his mother and after she offered to purchase him a CD, he chose Kanye West’s ‘Graduation’ for no other reason than the fact that he liked the way the album art looked. He went on to discover the ‘College Dropout by (illegally) downloading it and immediately fell in love with the soul samples he heard on there. From there he was hooked. He fell in love with the genre as a whole, citing Andre 3000, Isaiah Rashad, Drake, Future, Bryson Tiller, and more as some of his favorites growing up.
