Brandon Young

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Brandon Young. Born and raised in Orange County. I’ve grown up and was raised in a Filipino household by two great beloved parents who’s been supportive with me throughout my whole life. My mom has been my rock since I was born. I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now if it weren’t for her. I have two older brothers. The eldest having special needs and my other brother who I would follow footsteps when I was getting into high school. I did drumline at Westminster High School for my whole high school career. I struggle with severe OCD and got diagnosed at age 12. Still to this day, learning who I am with this disorder and ways to cope. OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is a disorder that falls under anxiety. I’ve been through a lot growing up. It was quite difficult to keep relationships afloat because of the struggles I would have due to OCD. I’ve learned to realize that OCD does not define me it is not who I am. With those struggling with mental health, know you’re not alone. Know there is hope. As for of today and going forward, I’m doing much better than I ever have. I’m thankful for my family and friends who’s been genuine and sincere with me through all of it. Aside from that, enjoy the music (:
