Bratati Biswas is a Saregama India Ltd (HMV) contracted singer and a music composer.
Her compositions are well acclaimed by listeners. Shri Nachiketa Chakraborty sang the
song “Ekar Nachiketa” and Vidushi Haimanti Sukla sang the song “Bolona Amai”, both
composed by her. The song “Bolona Amai” has bagged Radio Mirchi best female singer of
the year 2022.
Bratati is a Hindustani Classical trained musician, disciple of Pandit Subir Chakrabarty (a
direct disciple of Ustad Sagiruddin Khan Sahab of Delhi Gharana, and a Ganda Bandhan-
senior representative of Gwalior Gharana)
Bratati Biswas got training in Western Music during her prolonged stay at Moscow, Russia.
Since childhood Bratati has put up stage performances in Kolkata & Delhi.
