Repping Houston’s Northeast side and originally from Chicago’s Little Village, Braze One rose from the streets to the airwaves, earning his place in Houston’s underground rap scene. Starting out selling mixtapes from the trunk with his fam Kriminology, the duo dropped their debut album “Latinos Stackin C-Notes: Real Gz Do Real Thingz” in 2001, setting the tone for underground rap in the city.
Braze One later joined the infamous Hata Proof Click, contributing to Houston classics like “Voicemail” and “Ink My Whole Body.” Known for his raw lyrics and relentless work ethic, his music embodies the real hustle of the underground.
Collaborations include: Kid Frost, Fade Dogg, Odiscee, Mr. Nava, J-Pen Jail, Big Cease, Ese Loc, Brian Angel (Day 26 Bad Boy), Blade, South Park Mexican, Luni Mofo , Lil Villan, and Catastrophe. Braze One’s name remains etched in Houston’s rap history — a voice for the streets, past, present, and forever.
