Roland's Breach is not only a geological curiosity located in the Pyrenees. Brèche de Roland is also the alter ego of Coraline Gaye. As teacher, novelist and musician, Coraline is in love with words and melodies, which she ties and unties to create a unique little sensory worlds. From an almost solitary (even ephemeral) adventure, Brèche de Roland has become a reality with many faces. "fin:début" is their debute abum. Recorded and produced by Gil Mortio during the pandemic in the summer 2020, the essence and dynamics of the piano and vocals have been preserved while the tracks were enriched with some Bristol-ish colours and structures.
