The dark pop duo Bremo is a blend of distorted sounds, electronic experimentation and performative, choreographic and visual elements. Founded by Nicolò Mingolini and Sara Pizzinelli, the project originated in the underground scene, with the first lo-fi self-productions Static Air (2016) and The More (2017) performed in clubs and punk venues.
Their approach gradually moved in a theatrical direction, conceiving the show as a space for experimentation between visual and acoustic media. With the single 2020 (2021) they began a new collaboration with the movement research collective Parini Secondo, which led them to produce the choreographic show What Will Happen Tomorrow? (2022-23) on tour in performance art and music festivals.
In their new album “Open Door”, produced in collaborating with Glauco Salvo (Comaneci) and Alberto Ricca (Bienoise), dark atmospheres
and catchy sounds alternate and intertwine, generating dreamlike soundscapes and blurred visions of the future.
