Brent Isom is a singer-songwriter and composer based out of St. Joseph, MO. His debut EP Eternity is a kaleidoscopic mixture of sounds that have inspired him. "It's alternative pop. Some of the songs are very straightforward, acoustic pop. Some are a bit more indie. There are elements of EDM and even jazz/blues influences." Eternity was recorded at Spot-On Audio Recording in St. Joseph under the direction of Mark Elting and mastered by Drew Lavyne at All Digital Mastering in New York. The songs lean on past memories and the yearning to get more out of life than surface-level thrills. "There's a real constant theme with the album about looking at life and trying to see what's temporal and what's eternal. It's about taking stock of your relationships and the way you're spending your time and striving each day to invest in something beyond yourself."
