My name is brian brand im 57 im from lochgelly scotland uk a self taught singer songwriter
I am an unsigned artist and write songs of all genre from rock to pop folk blues indie etc keeping my oppertunity's open. I have played live on eastcoast fm radio ,saltire radio,radio westfife, and sometimes take my music to the occassional open mic night.. i write and record all my music at home on a portable recording studio and love that raw feel it gives. Each song has probibly been written played and recorded within a few hours to a few days depending on my timing. All instrument input bass drums lead guitar are all my own work. I am not in a band and dont belong to any social musician groups etc i have no agent and no manager. I am just a songwriting fanatic who loves to fret around my guitar looking for my next song to write and my aim is to get it done as quickly as possible. My inspiration comes from deep within being an emotional person i have a wide range of influencers like oasis, the boss, deacon blue ,bob dylan, eric clapton, billy idol, big country, and lots lots more. My ideas for a song usually come from little things i hear either in a song its self or from something thats happened to myself or someone else like family friends so yeah things like that inspire me to just write songs
