Drawing from the great artists of the British Invasion and influenced by the music from the San Francisco Bay Area, Brian Rogers has been writing original music and producing rock songs since the late 1980's. Brian is a self-taught musician and songwriter since ~ 12 years old and plays electric guitar, bass, piano, acoustic guitar, drum programming, synthesizer, and sings on all of his recordings. His main influences are @The Beatles, @The Who (esp @Pete Townshend), @David Bowie, @Tom Petty and @The Kinks.
Brian has written and self-produced 23 albums (and various singles), including a few rock operas and musical novels. He has collaborated with a few other San Francisco musicians on some upcoming releases and composed over 200 original works. Songs in his repertoire include "@I'm a Fool", "@Reminisce", "@She Changed Her Mind", "@Black Poison" and "@Take a Walk in San Francisco". He has also written a few movie scores including "@The Dark Figures" and "@Izron Alazor". With his first album, "@Can't Take the Heat!", Brian is set to release his entire back catalog via digital distribution to as many musical outlets and potential fans as possible.
From Brian Rogers: "Thanks to all of you who've either bought my CDs in the past or listened to my music. I'm very grateful, especially to the music outlets who take the time to work with me in releasing all of my stuff. Enjoy the music and thanks for the support!"
