Mychal and Theresa is an exciting new musical group in Sedona, Arizona. They have a unique sound all their own, with a beautiful blend of vocals and instrumental music. They sound funky, with danceable rhythms and melodies, along with rich chord textures and a classy, modern sound. Their repertoire includes classic cover songs like Inner City Blues and I Can See Clearly Now, along with catchy and singable original songs.
Mychal writes music, plays piano and keyboards, sings, and programs drums and percussion. Theresa plays bass guitar, sings, and arranges the music with Mychal. They met in Los Angeles and had an instant musical rapport, along with a deep respect for each other's musical gifts. They also share a deep love of the earth and all creation, and a strong desire to use their gifts to be a blessing to other people.
Mychal has performed with such diverse artists as Tony Bennett and Glen Campbell, and has charted international airplay on radio, TV, and other media. He was a piano soloist with the Portland Youth Philharmonic at age thirteen, and the first freshman pianist with the University of North Texas Lab Band. Theresa has won numerous music scholarships and awards, toured with the Boston Pops, and worked as a professional musician and singer throughout Southern California and the West Coast. Mychal and Theresa is currently booking live engagements and working in the studio on their next recordings.
