Bright Ideas started as a 4-track project of the original other Scott Miller (Nar, English Singles, not GameTheory) and included such notable musicians as anyone else who might be around at the time. Eventually a full-band lineup emerged of Scott Miller, Marie Davenport, Tim White and Tony Cale, with a goal of making enthusiastic POP music for people who pay attention. The records are two, the shows sporadic, the shirts striped. They are Sacramento as hell.
