A trap and electro producer signed to <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Mad+Decent%22">Mad Decent</a>, Brillz originally worked behind the scenes, playing in various bands while working with acts like <a href="spotify:artist:0ZVqyfTk5GaaRiQNQaW9jg">Jeffree Star</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5RFf1gyPc9lMOtCq2k6tLl">AJ McLean</a>. Born Sami Diament, the Los Angeles-based producer launched the electro act Ultraviolet Sound in 2008 while also working on <a href="spotify:artist:0ZVqyfTk5GaaRiQNQaW9jg">Jeffree Star</a>'s breakthrough EP Cupcakes Taste Like Violence. Work with <a href="spotify:artist:5RFf1gyPc9lMOtCq2k6tLl">AJ McLean</a> and more Ultraviolet Sound releases followed, then in 2012 he joined ETC!ETC! and <a href="spotify:artist:5fMUXHkw8R8eOP2RNVYEZX">Diplo</a> on the Bueller EP, released by the <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Mad+Decent%22">Mad Decent</a> imprint <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Jeffree%27s%22">Jeffree's</a>. His Twonk album was released in 2013 on <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Slow+Roast%22">Slow Roast</a> while the remix version, Retwonked, landed before the end of the year. Festival DJ sets, including gigs at Lollapalooza and Electric Zoo, plus remix work for <a href="spotify:artist:6jJ0s89eD6GaHleKKya26X">Katy Perry</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2qxJFvFYMEDqd7ui6kSAcq">Zedd</a> brought Brillz to 2015, when he signed with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Mad+Decent%22">Mad Decent</a>.
