Brinez (pronounced brin-ez) is a New York City-based writer, producer, and creative from Brooklyn, whose passion for music began at an early age. Inspired by his parents (his father gifted him his first guitar & and his mother sang in the church choir), Brinez grew up in a home filled with music. Classically trained in middle school, he learned to classically read, write, & perform music while mastering multiple instruments, laying the foundation for his style.
Blending influences from ballad rock, jazz, freestyle, & hip-hop, Brinez has crafted a sound defined by hard-hitting drums & intricate melodies. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, he plays drums, saxophone, keyboards, percussion, and some guitar and bass, infusing his music with dynamic energy.
Brinez has collaborated with notable artists such as Sean Price (“Dark Sounds”), Termanology (“Hands Up”), Superstah Snuk (“100 Bahs”), Justo The MC (“Twilight Zone,” “Release Therapy”), Dizzy Dizasta (“Hands Up,” “Warzone”), Enfo, and many others. His ability to connect & create with meticulous attention to detail across styles has solidified his reputation as a go to collaborator.
In 2021, Brinez teamed up with Dieverse, Booda, & J.R. Lee to release “One Night,” 12 years after his debut single “I’m Not.” In 2024, he scored the original soundtrack for the film Helado. In January 2025, Brinez & Justo The MC team up again to release their new single “Release Therapy”, a gritty & bold classic anthem for hip-hop fans.
