Brit Frisco is the retro soul musical lovechild of San Francisco native Diona Devincenzi and Brit Paul Robert Cufflin.
Both successful songwriters in their own right, the two met in LA last year. Realising they shared a mutual love of all things retro soul, Brit Frisco was born.
With Diona based in Nashville and Paul in southern Spain, their debut album ‘Roll Around' was written and recorded over the summer 2016.
It's a collection of rootsy soul songs like yo' mama used to make, with nods to past greats such as Al Green, The Staple Singers, Aretha Franklin and The Meters but with a modern twist a la current artists Leon Bridges, Nathaniel Radcliffe, Raphael Saadiq, Allen Stone, Lake Street Dive, Vintage Trouble et al.
