Named by the Nashville Scene to its 2024 “Artist to Watch” list, country Singer/Songwriter Brit Taylor – known for a traditional yet uniquely modern sound, unwaveringly honest and relatable lyrics, and a sultry, powerful alto – just released her new album, Kentucky Bluegrassed. The acoustic album, with an elite cast of pickers, follows her Sturgill Simpson-produced Kentucky Blue, which debuted at No. 4 on the Bluegrass albums chart and stationed itself for weeks on the Americana chart Top 20. During her breakout year, she debuted on the Grand Ole Opry, toured nationwide including a 14-show West Coast headliner, and had solo performances at major music festivals including CMA Fest, Railbird, Key West, Laurel Cove, Master Musicians, and Americanafest. The Kentucky native’s song was on the TV hit “Tulsa King” and she supported musicians including Dwight Yoakum, Margo Price, Brent Cobb, Blackberry Smoke, Turnpike Troubadours, Kelsey Waldon, Charles Wesley Godwin, Dayton Farley and more.
