Brite Boy

Brite Boy is the alias for Andre de Ruyter a solo independent artist, instrumentalist and producer based in the Illawarra region of Australia. His sound can be described as folk and alternative/surf rock. Brite Boy’s debut single <a href="spotify:track:3J9xvK7JiPJv5EQMuNwJoj" data-name="The Dreamer">The Dreamer</a> was released in 2020, this low-fi pop track incorporates multiple guitars, keys, bass and vocals with a range of effects such as reverb, chorus and tremolo. Brite Boy continued this production and recording process for his self titled EP with the addition of live drums. This released 2021 which extended further into the surf rock genre with the tracks <a href="spotify:track:0QYWbNDBlgE89dJygYwS41" data-name="14">14</a> and <a href="spotify:track:1T5PUFEwrtdvkerRrdbJos" data-name="Please Stay">Please Stay</a>.
His most recent single <a href="spotify:track:2TNznrfgsMEK9SUhdDyX9F" data-name="With Me">With Me</a> takes on a more stripped back approach, progressing with more acoustic recording methods. Upcoming releases are touching more into the folk pop setting, further tunes to come.
