Brodie is the middle name of Australia-based musical multi-hyphenate Nick Gray. Writing, producing and engineering music from the age of 25, the last few years have been a flurry of artistic, technical and lived developments for the emerging artist. His May 2025 A side/B side ’Alamein.’ is the first musical release of many scheduled for the back half of the year.

Feeling constrained by the navel-gazing nihilism and digital anxiety of the 2010’s, the Hobart-based Melbourne native set artistic parameters moving forward that encapsulate how the 2020’s to him could sound, feel and look. Connections, socio-political accountability and digital integration are all core tenements and recurrent themes.
